Learn a new position. A lot of times a coach will see something in a player that will make them better in another position. It is a team sport and changing position might be whats best for the team. Great volleyball players are the ones with soild all around games. One dimensional players usually don't go very far. Discuss it in a positive manner with your coach. Good luck and practice hard.

i think you should talk to your coach about it. my friend had an ankle sprain badly at the begining of the season and only played in like 4 games of the whole season. she then talked to her coach and played 1 more game. she was supposed to be boys volleyball manager but her mom wouldn't let her do it because her mom didn't want her to do stuff w/ that coach. she got the injury during the same coache's pre-practices from one of the drills.

Volleyball is a team sport and you need to be willing to try other spots. The coach is there to make those decisions and if you are willing to work with him/her then they will be impressed with your attitude and may be willing to put you back in your spot. Regardless, keep playing hard and having fun! Thats what it is all about!

i love to play volleyball and i'm a setter, so one time my coach put me in aposition i had never played before(libero) I ended up doing really well! so now that is what my coach plays me as. otherwords just try he spot she or he is putting you in. if they aren't playing you, then there must be a good reason

Show him you can play what ever position he puts you in and then ask him if you can play your position.

Talk to her about it. Ask her to put you in and if she says no ask why, it is YOUR position. If worst comes to worst talk to an adult or teacher, and maybe they can talk to them!
