ok? GIRLS? is it normal to wear thongs so that you cant see the panty lines in your spandex?

Sure is. It isn't exactly comfy if you're wearing one that's not the right size, but if you have one that is it isn't so bad. Panty lines just don't look good, so yep, I would try it. =)

No worries girl! I always wear thongs under my spandex because i HATE panty lines. Almost every girl on my team does. I personally think its uncomfortable to go bare under my spandex so thats what I do.

Yeah, I wear one every time. It's just as normal as wearing one outside of volleyball. It's up to you, really. If you're fine with wearing one, I suggest it because wearing bikini underwear or something of the sort gets annoying because of all the wedgies you get. With a thong, you already have a wedgie! (:

Almost everyone I know wears a thong when playing. They're great, and perfectly normal.

It's all about the comfort level.

yeah it's normal, but super uncomfortable. i started playing on varsity when i was a freshman, and what every volleyball player i know does is wear nothing underneath. i know it sounds gross, but it's not. that way you don't have any panty lines and you're not picking wedgies the whole time. and some people say that it's unsanitary, but it's totally fine. as long as you wash them. it's the same thing as wearing underwear. you don't wear them for 5 days in a row. plus, wearing a thong can be dangerous when you're exercising. it can mess things up up there. if you know what i mean...

what do you mean by thongs? underwear or like spandex length underwear? if spandex length underwear, im just disgusted by that. ive been playing volleyball for 8 years now, and ive never hear of someone wearing anything to cover up or side your underwear lines. thats not normal at all...and who CARES?! i mean your out there to play the game, not show them off...geez...plus, if your wearing like spandex length "thongs", you never know when something will reveal itself when you bend or reach for something, thats just even more embarrassing.

There is nothing wrong with wearing a g-string if you want to. Another idea is to wear a small sanitary napkin(pad) or panty liner. No VPL that way.
